What we collect
Almost nothing. This is a static informational website. We do not require accounts, and we do not collect names, email addresses, or other personal information through this site.
Audit information you send us
If you contact us about a payment-processing audit, you may choose to share business information such as your processor's name, approximate monthly card volume, and copies of your processing statements. These documents can contain sensitive business and banking details, and we treat them as strictly confidential: they are used only to perform your audit, never shared with third parties, and handled in a manner consistent with Canada's PIPEDA privacy law. You are never required to send this information — it is only needed if you want an audit performed.
What our hosting provider logs
Like nearly every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data (such as pages requested and approximate location derived from IP address) in server logs used for security and reliability. We do not use this to identify you.
Cookies
This site does not set its own cookies. If advertising is introduced in the future (e.g. Google AdSense), the ad provider may use cookies — this policy will be updated before that happens.
Children
This site is a general informational resource and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this site ever starts collecting information (for example a newsletter signup), this policy will be updated to describe exactly what is collected and why, before collection begins.
